   Owned and used for a year. Fantastic value. Excellent build material that is rubbery, sleek, water-proof, easy-to-clean, but not sticky or shiny. Has a matte look. Looks good. Unique. This bag is large. I actually biked a 10kg bag of rice in it. I’ve looked at comparable products at major retailers that are more expensive but nowhere near as handsome, functional, or as well thought out. The handle is robust. It’s comfortable to wear. No loose stitching or build quality problems after months of commuting daily with 5kg+ loads. Easy recommend.If I was to buy again … I might not get the extra compartment because I usually just throw my 14 inch laptop and binder in the main compartment. Reason being, there is a useful zipper pocket in between the laptop pocket and the main compartment. Sandwiching the items in that pocket in between my laptop in the back … and my binder in the main compartment just wastes space. The extra compartment also doesn’t provide a meaningful amount of protection for the edges of the laptop compared to the main compartment. The laptop compartment has proven useful for storing important documents however.

   I have tried several other bags while traveling and none of them had the right size and quality of dividers for my usual travel essentials. This bag is great. Has room for everything. The only thing I would like to see added is a side pocket above the external usb port to hold a phone while charging.

   I ordered this bag because my last work bag (eBags – Pro Weekender) was destroyed by my dog. I travel quite a bit for work… ~25% and I had kept snacks in my bag. My dog sniffed them out on multiple occasions and destroyed the inside pockets. Sad day, cause I loved that bag. Looking back now I spent $160 on that bag, and it had lasted me almost 4 years. Some quirks with the design, but I enjoyed it overall. Wasn’t the most professional, or the most sleek looking bag, but it did it’s duty and it was used a TON.This takes me to scouring the Amazon world for backpacks. I landed on this Mark Ryden. Why? For me the biggest reasons were:- Cost- Aesthetic- Storage Capacity- Tech (USB)I travel with my Steam Deck, plus tons of other tech related items, cables, etc. So I needed a bag that was big enough, that housed my items nicely, and had multiple separate compartments.When I got the bag I was extremely delighted. It’s ‘tall’ so to speak, and I thought the price point was absolutely killer. Includes the same type of material on the inside as the Weekender eBag my dog destroyed. The functionality and design of this thing is just spot on. Quick, easy access to a ton of storage space and pockets. Everything I had found a home, EASILY.Top it off, I can now keep my backup battery plugged in and stored at all times! The USB dongle on the outside is top notch. I tested it immediately and it’s a game changer for me personally. Using that on the fly is going to be awesome.Overall, the design is very business friendly. The straps are very comfortable. The design is really good… I mean really good. So much space to include so many electronics and headphones etc.I’m really in love with it. I hope it lasts 4 years like my other bag.A few cons: the material is definitely not “oil friendly” if you’re eating something greasy, make sure you wash your hands before touching your bag. It can come out, so hope isn’t lost btw use the directions on the bag tag. Another con is the water bottle holder. It’s very sleek, but won’t hold a big bottle. I’m OK with that.

   I use my backpack to get to and from work on the train. It’s very comfortable and I’m amazed at the amount of pockets and compartments it has. Fits great, and the texture of the backpack is very nice. No loose threads and feels very durable.

   Old soft shoe – 1-April.

   Love it! Looks really good and I get a lot of compliments. This bag has a surprising amount of hidden space. Just when you think that you’ve located all the compartments you find another. Holds my laptop, it’s accessories along with a rain coat and a change of clothes and probably room for my shoes. Very plush bag to wear and or carry. I will replace this bag with the exact same when it wears out in 10 years!

   Surf – 1-April.

   I can fit my tablet, laptop, extra screen, and portable keyboard in here with room to spare. Have lots of pockets to organize personal accessories or toiletries and I love it. Great in the rain and durable. Goes through security easily and fits underneath airplane seat though it is on the larger side. It will stick out a little but I never had issues.

   Its one of the best waterproof backpacks I ever had. This one can carry one or two overnights clothes as well along with your laptop and other accessories. It has a defined place for everything. You can learn to organize yourself and it looks very sleek and beautiful. I would like to see more women bag though this one specifically says men backpack I really don’t mind as it is very stylish and useful. Hope the review helps

   I used it for the first time for a trip I had to fly for, but didn’t need business clothes. It was a 5 day trip and I packed everything I could think of – as you can see – even including my white noise speaker! I have every cable known to man in there, sandals, snacks, you name it. The best part is that I didn’t even have to “unpack” the way the backpack lays out and opens up it was easy to reach in, get what I needed and continue on.

    If you are looking for a professional looking business backpack, stop looking, this is it. I spent hours comparing backpacks, was it large enough, can I easily clean it, would it look worn quickly, was it well made, would it protect my laptop, etc. Well, I decided on this one and I have to say it was the perfect choice. Lots of flexibility, 3 large compartments, with a variety of pockets in each. I like the compartment against your back for important documents. Zippers are well made, I got caught in the rain, no leaks. Adjustable shoulder and chest straps. After several long flights, no scrap marks, stains or damage. I am very pleased with my choice.

    I had ordered a highly rated expandable backpack, Great and lightweight for carrying only your 17″ computer and charger. This is an amazing backpack. The feel of the material yells out “I’m water resistant” and good looking too. Top zipper pocket is ideal for often used items like sunglasses or keys. Right side has elastic opening for a water bottle (or your sunglasses)! Many laptop backpacks do not offer this feature anymore. Front pocket will fit a small iPad (small spiral note book here). Front main TOP zipper has lots of room for shoes (as advertised), and lots of pocket storage and a removable keychain. This was something that I wanted. Love hanging small items here that is easy to reach. My 17″ MacBook Pro fit in the back pocket easily. There is also a small front pocket area for a small iPad or accessories. The back of the backpack has a hidden zipper pocket for valuable items.
