I gave this 5 stars for it does just as it says. I have lower back pain and the muscles on the left side of my back tighten up. I always had to go to the gym and use one of their machines to roll out the muscle tension, but now I can roll it out at home. I fine that the roller works best while I am sitting in a chair. I put the roller in my computer chair and press upon it where the muscle is the tightest and I can tell you it is painful at first, but after a few streights the muscle begins to relax. There are a couple models of this and they have different prices. This was the cheaper model and I recommend this, for I can’t see how the other models could do more.

For stretching, massaging and working out any knots of your muscles, this has been a pressure reliever!

I love it, helps greatly to relax back.

I’ve only used this once so far, so I can’t comment on how well it holds up. But holy crap!!! I think it’s gotten knots out I’ve had for 10 years. Using it was absolute heaven. I actually HEARD muscle knots popping around, which sounds gross, but feels wonderful. I’ve tried other massager type things, but nothing has really worked. It also helped me stretch out my thoracic and lumbar areas of my back which is going to help me get my back bends deeper in yoga without putting stress on the lower back.

I’d had left upper back pain for close to a year, the kind that makes it impossible to sleep on that side and really uncomfortable to sit for long periods of time. I’d tried focused myofascial release with cork balls on the area, and while that provided some temporary relief, it didn’t last. At the advice of my sister-in-law, I tried this foam roller. It provided the same kind of temporary relief at first, but after using for perhaps a month, the pain has gone and stayed away. I can’t be positive that was due to this roller or natural healing, but I think the roller definitely helped in this process and feels great to use.

Pleased with the prompt delivery considering other international orders are usually held up with delays. Great tool to help me with my back, leg and abdominal stretches. For me it’s been therapeutic and something that I’ll continue to use.

There are two different textures of this roller that alternate as bumpy, smooth, bumpy, and smooth. This gives me the option to do a smooth roll or a massage roll, allowing me to choose a lighter or deeper massage depending on my needs for the day. I use this roller on carpet because the different textures of this roller make it difficult to smoothly roll on tiled surfaces (the bumps get caught in the grout). The roller is hollow which makes it easy for me to hold with one hand and it is lightweight.
