Very useful in the winter. Wires are ran through the inner blanket to turn the heat on! I also put a timer to turn off so I don’t have to remember! Don’t use it while sleeping!

The preheat feature also a big help to avoid from ice-cold blanket situation. Cool nights in the Northwest fall through spring make an electric blanket a real necessity. We have used this brand for years and needed another after years of use. I bought this as a gift for my parents, who are both in their 60’s, to use as an oversized heating pad. After spending all day yesterday working with a shovel, my dad sat down at the computer last night all stove up. I broke this blanket out and tossed it to him, and he loved it. He’s a tall guy, and a heating pad never covers his whole back area that hurts, where this blanket was plenty big for that and his knees, too. He said the blanket heated quickly and evenly, and the soft material was very comfortable (and easy to use). All in all, I may end up buying a second one for mom, because dad may not share with her.

I’ll admit, I haven’t had the best luck buying electric blankets. I’ve had a few be defective, one melt, and then this one. It works fine, and it’s soft enough I guess, but it’s nowhere near “large”. It’s barely larger than a decent sized baby blanket. And for the price, there are much better electric blankets that are actually large on Amazon. I wouldn’t bother with this one unless you’re super tiny.

Its a good size soft blanket that heats pretty quickly. It has several temperature heating modes and it has a timer which is very convenient. It is so easy to clean too, we just removed the wire and placed it on the washing machine. My wife is still not used to the cold weather here in the US and this blanket is perfect for her.

I was initially looking for a regular blanket/throw for use during the afternoon naps but came across this heated blanket. I was glad that I spent some extra bucks to get this heated blanket. It is super soft and cozy like any high-quality regular blankets. If you pinch it you could feel the electric wire inside but you won’t feel it when using it. I only heated it once for trial and it worked well. There is an over-heating protection function which is good. For now, I mostly use it as a regular blanket but having the option to heat it feels great.

I am pleased with this heated throw. It is very soft and heats well. I do wish it was a little thicker and more plush. I am most pleased and the reason I bought this particular throw is the variety of settings for automatic shut-off. Most are 2-4 hours but this one will go up to 9 hrs which is great for using at night. I would rather have the extended hours than to be more plush. Overall, I am happy and would purchase again.
