What I like:-100w power through using just one of the ports is reported by MacOS system report. While this isn’t a good way to verify, it’s one of the few ways I can very the advertised charging speeds of a product. Furthermore, I have a Zendure Supertank 100w portable battery bank. This is supposed to be able be charged within 2 hours and virtually has 100wH capacity (27800maH). Choetech advertises that this charger can charge a 16″ MBP in 1.9hrs and that laptop has a 100wH capacity. After charging the Supertank for one hour using Choetech’s own 100w USB-C braided cable the battery was charged at 55% which correlates to the 1.9hr full charge rate with an acceptable margin of error.-Small size. This thing is indeed small. Not the smallest but I put up pictures of Choetech charger compared to Hyperjuice 100w GaN charger that has 2c2a ports and Ravpower’s 90w GaN charger with similar 2c ports. The Ravpower is ever so slightly smaller but given that it’s only 90w max output this is perfectly fine. Hyperjuice charger is longer but the width and depth are very similar (just a little smaller than Choetech). Choetech and Ravpower have a weight difference as well and it’s really noticeable when holding the two side by side. This is ultimately negligible because they’re both so small anyways. What I don’t like:-This is going to be very nitpicky but I wish this thing could dynamically change output of the ports based on what’s plugged in. Ravpower does this pretty well (not perfect but well) as it will split the overall 90w output in 1 of 3 ways (60/30 to 45/30 to 45/45). The devices you plug in will disconnect initially when something new gets plugged in and reconnect to charge with the renegotiated rates depending on the devices. This usually is a good thing and tells me that it’s trying to charge each device as max possible. Choetech does NOT do this at all. In fact there is no intelligent power splitting of the 100w so there’s no way to do something like a 60/30 split. Everything is going to be split 45/45 or just full 100w with one port. I was really hoping it would do 65/30 split as the Hyperjuice does this, but it doesn’t even do 60/30. 65/30 is ideal for me to charge my 15″ MBP and iPhone 11 pro at decent speeds for both devices. A 45/45 split doesn’t help my MBP and just the iPhone.Misc Thoughts and observations:-This does get warm. While I don’t have a thermal camera, I do have an IR thermometer and so the wide flat surface while charging the supertank for about an hour measured out temps between 111F to 118F degrees. That’s just the external surface so I assume internally is even hotter but probably not by too much. Foldable prongs are very nice for the sake of portability and seem very sturdy and the casing also seems sturdy enough. This has no PPS standard and it’s just USB PD 3.0 so if you’re looking to charge your Galaxy S20 at 45w, this won’t work for you.Final thoughts:I’ve really grown to like Choetech products. I’ve been able to test some other products but before that happened I had bought a few of their cables and chargers personally and was always really impressed at the quality, function, and price. The size of this charger is what makes it truly great and I’ll honestly be using this more for the raw 100w power from single port use more than anything until someone else comes out with a charger in the same size factor that can do an intelligent power allocation. I know that Aukey has a 100w single port charger that has roughly the same dimensions (technically smaller) than this one and it would make sense for me to use that one if I”m only using a single port but that one is a bit more expensive (at time of this review) and the smaller size isn’t enough of a justification to spend more for the same power output and similar form factor. Aukey is also going to come out with their own 2c port version but they’ve said on their forums that the power output will also be split 45/45. Choetech in that case feels like a better winner based on price alone. I also have some crowdfunding options for other chargers similar to the Hyperjuice but theoreticaly may be similar in size to the Choetech so we’ll see if those are ideal when they come in later this year (hopefully)

What an amazing quality charger. Super solid build, fits nicely in between other chargers, doesn’t take up two spaces. Nice foldaway prongs, beautiful little blue circle LED lights up for charging. Charged both my Macs at the same time in record time. Don’t hesitate to buy this product.

Comes with two ports, so you can charge multiple devices simulteneously. Was detected by my Dell Laptop as a 60W charger, while PD fast charging my phone.Has fold down prongs and an LED indicator.A little bit heavier and bulkier than less powerful chargers. Comes in at 7oz for this one vs 4.2oz for the blitzforce single port 65W charger(the smaller on in the picture).

This is great for charging my MacBook and iPad Pro at the same time. I just have to carry one charger now for my devices. The charger is small for the power because of the GAN tech, but it has some weight to it. However, one caveat is that when two devices are connected to the USB ports, each port maxes out at 45Watts. This has to do with the way the voltages and current are apportioned.Overall, this charger is solid, well built and does the job.

This is the smallest i have ever seen for the 100W USB C charger. I really love how fast this charges my Asus laptop and ipad pro at same time. it can handle 100W but when there is two device connected it delivers 45W max at both ports. One downside of this is there is no way to change this behavior. if i want 60W macbook pro and some small power like 30W for my ipad then there is no way to do this. but 45W is mostly enough for the Macbook pro unless using it 100% all the time. also convenience of just bringing one charger for all the devices are awesome. Also the power plug folds which makes its easy to carry. not to mention cheaper than apple products with only one port. overall very nice product!

All the power you need! As a family with 2 Dell XPS laptops and Samsung S10s I was fed up with specific USB-C chargers for each device. The whole point of USB-C is that you can charge your phone/laptop/game controller or whatever else with the same cable. To make that a reality you need a charger like this. Full speed charging for everything. Don’t think, just plug and it’ll charge FAST! We can charge both laptops at once with this and get the same speed as the stock chargers. I do wish this level of charger included a cable but seems no brand does so won’t dock a star for that. I did buy a choetech cable as well and will review it separately. As a bonus the charger has a really nice matte finish and looks great. A+ highly recommend.

I’ve had this charger for a few weeks now and I’ve been giving it quite a little workout. It works perfectly and charges a MacBook Air and an iPhone with ease. I’ve had some success with charging 2 MacBook Airs, but on occasion you need to unplug one cord to reset the collection. I was about to take two MBA from 90% to 100% while streaming a movie on both machines in about 15 minutes on one occasion, but on another with both plugged in, one was losing a charge while the other maintained 100%. After unplugging the cords and plugging them back in, they both charged and stayed at 100%. Since this unit claims 100Watt output, and the MBA’s come with 45Watt chargers, you would think this should be able to handle both without any issues. The design and quality is top notch. The folding plug is a nice bonus for space saving while traveling. The only knock on the unit is the size. I’ve attached a couple pictures to indicate this. The width of the unit is wider than an OEM Apple charger. While this isn’t a deal breaker, it does make it impossible to use next to an OEM apple charger on a standard spaced power pack. It is also taller and longer than the OEM, but as it is a double charger, that is acceptable. I just wish it was skinnier even if it needed to be taller and longer to make up the difference so It could be better used in more spaces. If this take up two spaces, it’s not really saving me anything that two OEM chargers, other than a bit of weight when traveling. If there is only one jack available and it is standard spaced, this might not work at all. However, if using for traveling where there tends to be one jack on a desk lamp in a hotel, it will work great. If using a standard top/bottom wall outlet, there is plenty of room to access the other outlet regardless of which outlet you use as long as the longer part sticks away from the other outlet – otherwise it is obstructed. All in all, one of the better chargers I’ve used. The fact that I can (mostly) handle 2 MBA is a HUGE bonus. If they come out with a new model, hopefully, they take my size issues into consideration as that would make this a 5* product!

This is a fairly small USB block that performs well. I haven’t had it long term yet, but I’m impressed so far. The biggest surprise is my LG G4 doesn’t seem to get as warm when charging, while still charging just as fast. The phone is only QC2.0 compatible, while this block has two QC3.0 ports. Reduced heat and greater efficiency is the purpose of 3.0, and looks like it may have some benefit even on older devices. This may also be a placebo effect because I haven’t actually tested this theory. In either case, it does the job and does it quite well.

This can replace an array of separate power adapters for multiple devices, between phones, tablets, and other portable devices. Plugged my Galaxy S8 into the QC 3.0 port and it simply detected it for fast charging comparable to its original Samsung adapter. Build quality feels good though it is made from plastic, it’s a solid block that feels like it should withstand travel and is compact enough to not take up much space. Comes with an extra USB Type-C-to-Type-C cable.Anybody hoping to use it to charge their laptop will likely be out of luck as it wasn’t able to charge my small 11.6″ laptop that is supposed to support Type-C charging. Not enough wattage I suppose. Apparently it’s capable of charging a MacBook Air though I wouldn’t know as I don’t own one. And to eliminate any confusion, the Power Delivery 2.0 port maxes out at 30 watts; 60 watts is the total max for all ports combined, including the QC 3.0 port which maxes out at 18 watts. Wish there was a way to direct all power to the PD port as then it would be capable of charging larger devices like my small laptop. Even then, pretty impressive that it can fast-charge two devices at once and normal-charge 3 more on top of that.I also have to mention that Choetech has amazing customer service. I also own a Choetech fast wireless charger and had some issues, but their customer support were more than willing to replace the unit. No worries about them upholding their warranty. Not much else to say. The charger does what it says it does and can replace 5 separate adapters. Travels easily too.

Have had this charger for a little over a week and it seems to be doing a nice job for my late 2019 Macbook Pro 16″. No problems charging the battery while actively using high powered apps on the laptop. It does get warm while charging, but no worse than the apple brick. The build quality seems very good, and it appears to be pretty rugged. Amazon was nice enough to throw this charger (in its unpadded box) in the bottom of a shipping box with a 150′ roll of wire fencing material that I ordered at the same time. No padding at all. I was concerned that the power supply would be smashed, but opened the box and it looked fine and no scratches. Plugged it in and have been using it ever since. This supply DOES NOT come with a USB-C cable, but neither to most of the others, including apple. So make sure you plan accordingly and pick up an extra cable if needed.
